Sunday Supper is about 3 of my favorite things coming together in one place. Good Friends, Good Food, Good Wine. All in my kitchen once a month in 2010. It makes Sunday my favorite day of the week, and it is filling my very first condo with memories to last a lifetime. Sunday Supper is the inspiration and starting point for this blog, but it is far from being the only point. As with the Sunday Supper that takes place in my kitchen each month, I hope you stop by for the food, but find you want to stay for so much more. Enjoy!

Bishop Arts Wine Walk

Free wine and discount shopping. Yes, please. Jill and her fabulous friends took me to the Bishop Arts District tonight for Wine Walk. Boutique shopping, discounts and free drinks = girls night! One shop was serving an apple-tini, which I would normally pass up, but since they matched my skirt, it was only appropriate for me to sample. For the photo op.

Afterward, we went to Bolsa. Great food, AWESOME drinks. (Chicago friends - note I "borrowed" a drink menu so can make them for you!) Many drinks with whiskey. Yummy, yummy!

The Dallas girls have been great and welcomed me as one of their own. Can't wait to visit again! Off to meet Megan in Austin tomorrow - YAY!

I run ...

I run because I have never NOT felt better - physically, mentally, emotionally - after a run.

I run because 2 1/2 years in NYC turned me into a foodie and I lost all desire to turn down an amazing dish because of its calorie content!

I run because there is a better chance of meeting the man of my dreams on a running path than in a bar. I run for love! :)

I run in honor of my grandpa, who still touches my life, and to raise awareness of and support for hospice care. I Run to Remember.

I run because it brings me renewed appreciation for all the little things around us -- nature, humanity, quiet charm of a city, landscape, sound of waves hitting shore, life at its simplest.

I run for the instant, simplistic yet tenacious, camaraderie amongst runners.

I run because some of my favorite people in life are those that I met through running.

I run for the challenge.

I run for FUN!

I run to keep my foot doc in business!

I run because it forces me to call on and continue to increase my mental toughness. It prepares me for life.

I run to relieve stress & restore balance; to be good to me.

I run because claims that metabolism slows once you hit 30 are no joke!

I run for the positive effects on my backside!

I run because I feel happier and better about life, in general, when running is a part of my routine.

I run because I can; I run for all of those who wish they could but can not; I run and appreciate that it is a blessing in my life.
